How to Set Up Sales Promotion
Sales promotion is one of the aspects of the promotional mix. It is implemented to promote usage or a trial of a product or service, to attract new customers, to keep current customers, and to counterwork competition.
Sales promotions vary depending on your preferences. They often come in the form of discounts. Discounts affect the way consumers think and behave while shopping.
The two most common types of discount are price discounts (“on sale items”) and bonus packs (“bulk items”). Price discounts are the reduction of an original price by a certain percentage while bonus packs are deals in which the consumer receives more for the same price.
