Creating Pricing Groups
Pricing groups allow you to combine products based on profitability or vendor type, and then apply the uniform pricing rules defined in a price book to those products.
Note: For the Microsoft 365 NCE part of your portfolio, you can let the system automatically organize products into optimal groups. To do this, you need to enable system-managed pricing groups.
To create a pricing group, a tenant needs to complete the following steps:
-
In UX1, go to Portfolio > Prices.
-
Switch to the Pricing groups tab and click Add pricing group.
-
Specify the group name and description, and click Add.
-
Click Add products.
-
Select the service template from which to add products and click Next.
Note: If all products from the service template are already included in a pricing group, it cannot be selected.
-
Choose whether to add all products from the template, including those created later, or select the products manually. Then click Apply.
Note: If you have selected products manually, you can change the selection later. Product selection in pricing groups that include all products from the template cannot be changed.
After that, you can continue with creating price books.
