To create APS connectors on the provider’s premises, the provider generally needs to have a separate host (endpoint host) with a web service that allows a virtual web server to be set for each APS connector. The endpoint host has access to both networks the private Backnet and the Internet (either directly or through a NAT).
In this case, the APS controller and an APS connector interact with each other on the APS bus directly.
A provider can use its own way to allow the APS connectors to reach the integrated applications, for example, directly or through a NAT.
For details on APS connector deployment, refer to Docker-based Deployment or Deployment in a Shared Apache Web Space.
