After installing the EDS service, you must configure the EDS resources as described below:
- Prepare a configuration profile that will be intended for customers who want to use the EDS service. In the configuration profile, specify the EDS settings using the URLs that you prepared during the installation of the EDS service. To prepare a configuration profile and specify its EDS settings, use the instructions in Preparing Configuration Profiles.
- Create a Hosted Exchange Configuration Profile resource for the configuration profile that you prepared. To create this resource, use the instructions in Preparing Resources.
- Create the EDS resources as described in Preparing Resources. If the resources are already created, skip this step.
- Create a service template with the EDS resources as described in Preparing Service Templates. While creating the service template, include the resources that you prepared in the previous steps.
