Notification Messages

This section describes the kinds of notification messages that are sent by the application.

Office 365 Customer Has Wrong Contact Data

  • Subject: The customer has wrong contact data
  • Condition: A notification message of this kind is sent when the application cannot perform a provisioning operation in the Microsoft cloud because the contact data of a customer account is incorrect.
  • Recipients:

    • Staff members of the customer account whose contact data is incorrect
    • Staff members of the vendor account of that customer account
  • How to turn on or off:

    • Staff members of the customer account: There is no ability to turn off the delivery of notification messages of this kind.

    • Staff members of the vendor account: For staff members of the vendor account to receive notification messages of this kind, they must be subscribed to the corresponding event, as described in the Operations Provider Guide. Otherwise, notification messages of this kind are not sent to staff members of the vendor account.

Office 365 Customer Has Not Activated Tenant

  • Subject: Not enough information to process your Microsoft 365 order
  • Condition: A notification message of this kind is sent when a customer has bought a Microsoft 365 subscription but not activated it yet.
  • Recipients: Staff members of customer accounts.
  • How to turn on or off: Use the Frequency of sending activation reminders (in days) application instance setting.
  • How to customize: Use the instructions in the Operations Provider Guide.

Office 365 Reseller Microsoft Agreement Notification

  • Subject: The customer has not accepted Microsoft Customer Agreement
  • Condition: A notification message of this kind is sent when the application cannot perform a provisioning operation in the Microsoft cloud because the owner of the respective Microsoft account has not accepted the Microsoft Customer Agreement.
  • Recipients: Staff members of vendor accounts (the provider account and reseller accounts).
  • How to turn on or off: For staff members of vendor accounts to receive notification messages of this kind, they must be subscribed to the corresponding event, as described in the Operations Provider Guide. Otherwise, notification messages of this kind are not sent to staff members of vendor accounts.
