Migrating Between Modules of Odin Automation > Migrating from Windows Shared Hosting to WebHosting Plesk > Known Limitations
Known Limitations
- Parked domains are not migrated.
- SharePoint sites are not migrated.
- Default document settings are not migrated.
- Website aliases are not migrated.
- After migration, system users will be able to access all websites under their subscriptions over FTP.
- IP addresses are not migrated. Only the types of IP addresses (shared or dedicated) are preserved.
- The target service templates that you will use during migration must not provide mail hosting services if the source service templates provide mail services. Otherwise, there may be conflicting MX DNS records in the zones of migrated domains.
- Email services and users' mailboxes are not migrated.
- Migration of PostgreSQL databases is not supported.
- During migration, databases and database users of a source subscription will be associated with the first webspace of that subscription.
- If there is more than one webspace in a source subscription, the system user of the first webspace will be migrated without any changes. For all other webspaces under that subscription, the names of system users will be generated by the template {sysuser_username}__{source_webspace_id}.
- FTP usernames will be shortened to 15 characters.
- Web users are not migrated.
- If a webspace does not contain domains whose home directory (wwwroot) coincides with the home directory (wwwroot) of the webspace, the home directory (wwwroot) of the webspace is created in WebHosting Plesk as a website with a name generated by the template "whp-{webspace_name}".
- Migration from Odin Automation without Billing is not supported.
- Perl and Python scripting settings are not migrated.
- Migration of websites and applications under providers' domains is not supported.
- Custom DNS zone records of migrated domains should be manually updated by the provider or domain owners: custom DNS records will not be changed to new IP addresses.
- After migration, APS applications will not be manageable from UX1 for Customers, but they will remain operable and will be accessible through FTP and SSH. If you want to manage the applications from UX1 for Customers, you can use the option to automatically detect installed applications in the Plesk panel (Subscriptions > subscription name > Websites & Domains > Applications > Scan).
