What Happens During Migration
- The migration tool checks whether license keys are installed, source and destination hosts are accessible, and service plans are compatible.
- Information about subscriptions and hosting settings is retrieved from the source Windows Shared Hosting module: FTP users, ASP.Net settings, PHP settings, database settings, IP addresses, virtual directories, application settings, and SSL settings.
- Corresponding subscriptions are created in Billing and in the target WebHosting Plesk module. Subscriptions are activated and their status is set to "ordered".
- The data of subscriptions are imported to WebHosting Plesk:
- DNS records are switched off in Windows Shared Hosting.
- Websites are created in WebHosting Plesk.
- DNS records are switched off in WebHosting Plesk.
- DNS records are switched on in Windows Shared Hosting.
- Hosting settings are recreated.
- Database servers and databases are registered in WebHosting Plesk.
- FTP users are imported.
- SSL certificates are imported.
- The content of websites is transferred.
- Database users are registered in Plesk.
- Resource usage statistics are updated in WebHosting Plesk.
