Purchasing Adobe Education or Government Products

CloudBlue has introduced Adobe products for the Educational and Government market segments, which offer the following features:

Adobe Education (EDU)	Adobe Government (GOV)
Named-user licenses; device licenses; K–12 site licenses	Named-user licenses and feature-restricted licenses (FRL) available Volume discounts and additional term options are available

During the purchase order process, resellers need to specify the Adobe market segments that they can sell products to:

• Adobe VIP Marketplace (COM)

• Adobe Government (GOV)

• Adobe Education (EDU)

Note: Resellers can only purchase offers in the market segments that they are enabled for.

If you did not provide this information when placing the order, you can specify this information in the UX control panel for resellers by following these steps:

1. Go to the UX1 control panel for resellers.

2. Click My Partnerships and then click Requires Attention next to the corresponding Adobe subscription.

3. Select the market segments (COM, EDU, GOV) that you are authorized to sell to in the corresponding field.

4. Once all the data required from you as a reseller has been provided, the subscription will be processed.

Note: If you have purchased an Adobe product before, the previously registered market segments will be selected in the field. Market segments may be changed, but removing a market segment may cause future orders or renewals to fail.

Configuring Adobe Education Subsegments

When purchasing an Adobe Education product, the customer needs to specify the education sub-segment by following these steps:

1. Select one of the following education sub-segments during the order process: K-12 School, Higher Education Institution, or Nonprofit Organization.

2. Set the same sub-segment for the subscription manually in the Adobe Admin Console.

As soon as the connector validates that the sub-segment specified in Connect is the same as the one in the Adobe Admin Console, the order will be processed.

Note: Customers may only purchase offers in the market segment that they are enabled for.

Parameters Used to Manage Adobe Market Segments
