Upgrading and scaling: Upgrade to a new SKU and increase the license quantity.
For additional information, refer to the Channel Operations Guide.
-
Fixed Issues
-
CG-844. We have fixed an issue that occurred during usage processing.
-
CG-846. Assets are now processed in batches to prevent memory-related issues during usage processing.
-
CG-852. All necessary validations are now performed before operations are executed on the Google side, ensuring greater reliability and consistency.
Known Limitations
-
Any billing modifications made directly in Google’s Provider Panel will not be synchronized with the connector or the Commerce platform.
-
In N-Tier configurations, it is not permitted to move a customer account from a reseller associated with one Cloud Identity to another reseller with a different Cloud Identity. Changing the channel partner link in this way is not allowed.
-
Since this product includes pay-as-you-go items, BSS systems must support the Google Flexible plans billing type to ensure accurate billing. For these plans, Usage is reported daily based on the current number of licensed users, so BSS systems must prorate this usage data and should not apply an additive billing model.
Note: To see more details about the Google Flexible plans billing type, refer to the following website: https://support.google.com/a/answer/1247362
-
Item validations in UX1 are not performed when ordering flexible items.
Known Defects
When a transfer operation fails due to an unexpected error, the customer is still created in Google. However, the API response only includes data from the customer associated with the original reseller, who has not yet been transferred.
As a result, when retrying the transfer process, you must:
-
Manually copy the value of the Google Customer Identity parameter from the failed request.
-
Use this value to configure the same parameter in the new transfer request.
