NCE Microsoft 365 and Software - CONNECT 28.5 Release Notes

Introduction

This document describes the enhancements and known limitations of NCE Microsoft 365 and Software - CONNECT v28.5:

New Features

  • COAD-4237. Distributors can now choose to add either the name of the customer or a vanity prefix to the GDAP request name. This will increase the readability of the GDAP request name in cases when the maximum character length (50) is exceeded and the name of the GDAP relationship is cut off. To configure this, you can use the gdap_name_prefix configuration parameter in the Distributor portal. For additional details, see the Configuring the Name of GDAP Relationship Requests section in the Channel Operations Guide.

Enhancements

  • COAD-4236. The connector now supports the new customer account data validation checks introduced by Microsoft to improve vetting data quality.

    • CNNO-1979. The validation of the MPN ID and the MPA has been removed from the dynamic order validation process to improve the performance.

    • CNNO-1978. Unique values are now used in the API request IDs and correlation IDs to align with Microsoft guidelines.

  • COAD-3867. The correct customer country culture (the language ID with a country/region code) is now sent to the Microsoft API when a customer account is created. Previously, a default value was sent instead.

Known Limitations

  • Auto-renewal changes will be ignored when they are made together with other changes.

Note: End-user management is now supported through Microsoft Online Management (MOME). For additional information, refer to MOME documentation.
