Configuring Discounts For Items of Marketplace Type

AWS Discount and Credit Management allows you to configure a discount for items of "Marketplace" type, which will override the rest of discounts. To do this, complete the following steps:

1. Access the AWS Discount and Credit Manager by following the instructions in this section.

2. Click the Config tab and go to the AWS Marketplace Items section. Then, specify the discount to apply in the case of AWS Marketplace Items for customers and resellers:

   • Discount for AWS Marketplace Items (Customer)

   • Discount for AWS Marketplace Items (Reseller)

The discounts configured here will override the discounts configured in the Discounts tab in the case of AWS items of type "Marketplace".
