Introduction

CloudBlue Commerce functionality can be extended with additional applications based on micro-service architecture.

Order Management is a microservice that enables order management in CloudBlue Commerce.

Order Management has its own release cycle and is not included in the CloudBlue Commerce distribution.

Important: Because Order Management enables public order management API, Order Management is required for the functioning of several CloudBlue Commerce extensions:
• UX1 Subscription Management
• UX1 Marketplace
• Approval Engine
• PSA Integration

Business Purpose

Order Management:

Provides the order correction functionality for CloudBlue Commerce.
Enables order management related functionality of the UX1 UI microservice.
Enables UX1 for Resellers and UX1 for Customers to display unpaid orders on the home tile.
Ensures the availability and enhances the order management REST API with the more detailed order representation, extended filtering capabilities, and other features.

Without Order Management:

You cannot make order corrections in CloudBlue Commerce.
The home tile of UX1 for Resellers and UX1 for Customers will not display unpaid orders; only the available balance is displayed.
The order management REST API is unavailable.
