This section explains how to prepare for signing up resellers and how to enable them to sell the services offered by WebHosting Plesk.
First, make sure that the following prerequisites are met:
- A pool of IP addresses is assigned to the UI branding node, as described in Allocating IP Addresses to Service Nodes.
- The provider's brand is set up, as described in Branding CloudBlue Commerce.
Here is an overview of the steps that you need to take before you can sign up resellers:
- Step 1. Create hosting plans that you want to provide to resellers. You must do this because resellers cannot create hosting plans. They can only use the plans that you create for them. This step requires creating service templates in Provider Panel and creating service plans based on them in Billing Panel.
- Step 2. In Provider Panel, create a service template that will include the resources required for reseller branding.
- Step 3. In Billing Panel, create a service template that will be based on the branding service template that you created in Step 2.
- Step 4. In Billing Panel, create a service plan for reseller based on the branding service template that you created in Step 3.
