Creating Domain Service Plan for Registering Domains in Vendor Zone

You may offer your customers to purchase domain in your zone. In this case, customer gets the third level domain, for example customer1.vendor.com.

A reseller can provide domain registration in their own domain zone as well. If so, the reseller must configure a service plan in the same way as a provider. There is no need to delegate them such a plan.

To create service plan for selling domains in vendor zone, perform the following:

  1. Register a vendor domain zone in the TLDs list. For details, refer to the Registering Domain Zone in Billing section earlier in this guide.
  2. Configure the Dummy registrar plugin. For details, refer to the Configuring Dummy Registrar section earlier in this guide.
  3. Associate the vendor domain zone with the Dummy registrar. For details, refer to the Associating Domain Zone With Registrar section earlier in this guide.
  4. Configure vendor domain zone settings. Set the Dummy registrar as default. For details, refer to the Configuring Domain Zone Settings section earlier in this guide.
  5. Create a service template on DOMAINGATE base. For details, refer to the Preparing Domain Service Template section earlier in this guide.
  6. Create a service plan on this service template base. For details, refer to the Creating Domain Service Plan section earlier in this guide.
