Managing Customer Accounts

You can manage customer or reseller accounts in the following way:

To view account information of all or some of your customers:

  1. In PCP, go to Operations > Customers. Your customers are listed in two tabs:
    • Direct Customers: all your direct customers.
    • All Customers: both your direct and indirect customers, where indirect customers are customers of your resellers who are subscribed to service plans delegated from you to your resellers.

    On both tabs, the following information is listed:

    • Account ID: the account ID in the system.

    • Account Name: the account name in the system.

    • Balance: the summary balance of all AR documents linked to the account.

    • Account Currency: the currency set for the account in the system.

    • Creation Date: the account creation date.

    • Last Billing Date: the last time the account was billed.

    • Account Status: the current account status.

    • Color: the color used with the account in the system.

    • Actions: a button to log in to the customer account (requires administrator privileges)

  2. To view customers with a particular account status or by another of the available parameters, use the search tool above the customer list.

To manage a particular customer account:

  1. Switch to either the Direct Customers or All Customers tab. Click the necessary customer in the list. The General tab opens with account information.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Manage the account as necessary:
    • To convert the account to another type:
      • (for Company accounts) Click Convert To Personal Account: The account will be converted to a personal account.
      • (for Personal accounts) Click Convert To Company Account: The account will be converted to a company account.
    • To transfer the account to another distributor, click Transfer to Another Distributor: The account transfer wizard will open. For more information see Transferring Customer Accounts between Distributors.
    • To send a notification to the account contact person: Click Send Notification. The notification sending wizard will open offering to select the necessary notification template. For more information about how to configure notifications see Managing Notifications.
    • To cancel the account: Click Cancel Account. The account cancellation wizard will open. Follow the wizard steps.
    • To put the account on or release the account from administrative or credit hold:
      • (For accounts which are currently not on administrative hold): Click Put On Hold. The account will be put on administrative hold.
      • (For accounts which currently are on administrative hold): Click Release From Hold. The account will be released from administrative hold.
      • (For accounts which are currently not on credit hold): Click Put On Credit Hold. The account will be put on credit hold. The subscription service will be stopped. Placing new orders or processing incomplete ones will be forbidden.
      • (For accounts which currently are on credit hold): Click Release From Credit Hold. The account will be released from credit hold. The subscription service will be resumed. Placing new orders or processing incomplete ones will be allowed. For more information see Releasing Account from Credit Hold.

To view and manage your direct and indirect resellers:

  1. In PCP, go to Operations > Resellers. All direct and indirect resellers are listed on the same page. You can see the same parameters as for customers plus these additional parameters:
    • Sales Currency: the reseller's sales currency.

    • Vendor Name: the name of the reseller's direct vendor account. For example, for a level 3 reseller the vendor is a level 2 reseller.

    • Level: the reseller's level in the reseller hierarchy. The provider account is level 0.

  2. Manage your resellers in the same way as your customers (see above).
