If a customer is subscribed to a service plan which was not delegated by the provider, transfer the customer to another distributor in the following way:
- Replicate the service plan the subscription is based on under the parent distributor of both the current and future customer’s owner. For more information, see Cloning an Existing Service Plan.
- Delegate the new service plan to both the current and future account owner. For more information, refer to Delegated Service Plans.
- For all subscriptions to the non-delegated service plan, switch the service plan to its delegated replica. For more details, see Switching to Another Service Plan.
- Transfer the customer.
- (optional) Under the target owner, switch the delegated replica service plan to the original non-delegated service plan.
