Possible Domain Registration and Transfer Failure Causes

Subscription Service Status History tab presents the history of service provisioning. This is the main place to look for details when investigating why order provisioning has been failed. The Service Status History tab lists changes of service status. Each service status change contains information of change cause. For detailed information on viewing failure causes, refer to the Monitoring Service Status History subsection earlier in this guide.

Possible domain registration and transfer failure causes are the following:

  • Invalid user contact information. Verify user contact information used for domain registration or transfer.
  • Invalid registrar plug-in settings. Verify a registrar plug-in settings.
  • Invalid transfer key. Enter correct transfer key before resubmitting order for processing. For detailed information on resubmitting domain transfer order, refer to the Resubmitting Domain Transfer section further in this guide.
  • Invalid DNS settings. Verify name server settings in the service template properties the purchased service plan is based on.
