A domain service template contains a resource type based on the DNS hosting resource class. This is a mandatory resource type. Optionally, the domain service template may contain hosting resource types ( Web Hosting, Mail Hosting, and so on). It is therefore possible to include "free" hosting services in the price of domain registration.
To create a domain service template, perform the following steps:
- Create a resource type based on the DNS hosting resource class, using the instructions in the Creating Resource Type section. For example, use DNS Hosting as the name of the resource type
- Create a service template of a Custom type, using the instructions in Creating Service Template. Add the resource type created in the previous step. Set the limit for the DNS Hosting resource type as 1.
- Activate the service template using the instructions in Activating Service Template.
