Deactivating External Directory Synchronization
If you need to deactivate the External Directory Synchronization (EDS) service, perform these steps:
-
Open this screen:
- In the DIRECTORY SYNCHRONIZATION area, click DEACTIVATE.
- Confirm the operation by clicking DEACTIVATE.
As a result, the EDS service is deactivated, and synchronization from your on-premise Active Directory domain is stopped. All synchronized users and contacts remain in CloudBlue Commerce, and their properties become editable.
Note: After deactivation, the current settings of the EDS service are discarded. If you reactivate the EDS service, you must configure user synchronization and mailbox provisioning again. See Configuring User Synchronization and Configuring Mailbox Provisioning for details.
