NCE Microsoft 365 and Software - CONNECT 31.0.0 Release Notes
Introduction
This document describes the new features in NCE Microsoft 365 and Software - CONNECT v31.0.0:
New Features
-
CBPFR-2581. Effective October 1, 2026, CloudBlue Connect introduces support for Microsoft NCE Growth Margins, allowing Direct-Billed Provider Partners and Distributors to automatically capture Microsoft incentives during order processing without altering reseller or end-customer pricing.
Operating on a fail-open, non-blocking model, this integration records eligibility and margin data directly into a fulfillment parameter (
nce_growth_margin_final) for Microsoft 365 Commercial public offers—with provisional scope for Software Subscriptions and Perpetual Software—enabling partners to track adjusted Cost of Sale and reconcile outcomes against Microsoft billing reports. Note that non-commercial products should become active as Microsoft extends segment coverage in the Growth Margin Guide. For additional information:-

Known Limitations
-
A Microsoft Partner Center API restriction prevents combining auto-renewal toggles with subscription changes in the same PATCH request. To ensure the primary order succeeds, the connector ignores the auto-renewal change when other updates are present. As a workaround, these updates must be processed as two separate transactions:
-
Modify the subscription quantity or SKU.
-
Submit a second, independent request to update the Auto-Renewal status.
-
Note: End-user management is now supported through Microsoft Online Management (MOME). For additional information, refer to MOME documentation.
