Prerequisites

Configuring Plesk in VPS
To configure "Plesk in VPS" resource model, you need to:
- Configure integration with Plesk licensing system (Partner Central) for Plesk auto-licensing. This step is optional.
- Create Plesk configurations. Plesk configuration is a template, defining what platform, version, edition, modules will be installed in Plesk on customer's VPS. It is recommended that Plesk configuration includes only single main Plesk license (no bundle or additional licenses).
- Include all Plesk configurations in the resource category named Plesk Configuration. This resource category serves for grouping and displaying Plesk configurations in UX1, CCP v1, and online store. You can't use other resource categories for this purpose. This step is required.
-
Create a new "Plesk in VPS" service template. The service template is based on a virtual server template, which can use:
- Default OS templates
- Custom OS template made of created image of VPS with pre-installed Plesk. Custom OS template can be used to speed up the process of Plesk provisioning, therefore this variant is more preferred.
- Create "Plesk in VPS" service plans.
- Publish service plans in CCP.
