Notes on Service Selection
-
AWS Standalone:
You can either select a standard service manually or use auto-discovery, which dynamically selects services based on AWS refund lines that match description patterns configured in the Config tab. This applies to programs such as Enterprise Discount Program (EDP), Private Pricing Agreement (PPA), and Solution Provider Program (SPP).
-
AWS Consolidated:
You can also select a standard service or use auto-discovery based on AWS refunds for the SPP. The service will be dynamically selected using refund line descriptions that match patterns in the Config tab.
This dynamic approach simplifies service maintenance in discount rules. For more details, refer to the Automated Service Selection section.
