Configuring a Custom GDAP Template for a Marketplace
The Microsoft Management Settings extension allows you to configure custom GDAP email templates which may be localized to different languages, contain custom support information or links to local web assets. You can configure one custom GDAP email template for each marketplace. If a custom email template is not available for a particular marketplace, the default email template will be used instead.
To configure a custom GDAP email template, complete the following steps:
Note: This functionality is not available for syndicated providers.
-
Go to the Integrations module in the CloudBlue Connect Distributor portal and select Extensions in the left menu.
-
Click on the Microsoft Management Settings extension.
Note: If the Microsoft Management Settings extension is not installed yet, refer to the Installing the Microsoft Management Settings section.
-
Once the extension is installed, click on it and then click Open Settings > GDAP.
Note: If the extension is already installed, you can also find it in your account settings (Settings > Microsoft Management Settings).
-
Click the Custom GDAP Email Templates tab.
-
Click Add and select the marketplace where the template will be used. Use the examples provided as a guide to configure the template. You can configure custom GDAP request templates localized to different languages or add custom content if necessary. However, please ensure you use the parameters as specified in the examples provided and use the same format.
Important:
- Remember to select the Enable Template checkbox. Otherwise the template will not be used in the GDAP requests.
- If a GDAP template rule is not created for a particular marketplace, the default template will be used instead. -
Link the template to an Email Notification Rule.
