Selling Google Workspace in a New Marketplace

Follow these steps to get started with Google Workspace in a new marketplace:

  1. Create the marketplace product listing.

    1. Work with the Product Management team to create the new listing via a SPCD ticket.

  2. Configure the Google API credentials to provision Google Workspace subscriptions.

    1. Ask the customer Google account admin user to follow the instructions to configure the credentials in Google's developers console.

    2. Obtain the JSON, the account ID and a user email with access to their account at admin.google.com.

  3. Set up the product configuration parameters at the distributor level.

    1. Store the credentials and configure the rest of the parameters by following the instructions in the Configuring the Parameters section.

  4. Install Google Management Settings extension in Connect.

    1. Ask the CloudBlue Product Management team to share the invitation code to install the extension if the distributor account does not have it yet.

  5. Run the process to obtain the new marketplace catalog using the API credentials.

    1. Ask the CloudBlue Product or Operations team to run the multi-account extension task to load the catalog offers.

  6. Use the Google Management Settings extension to update the offer codes.

    1. Update the catalog offer codes in the Google Management Settings extension by following the instructions in the Updating New and Expiring Offers section.

  7. Check the catalog in the in the Google Management Settings extension to publish the right service plans in the platform.

  8. Select the model for Flexible SKUs.

  9. Set up the marketplace for the test environment.

  10. Import existing subscriptions from Google.

    1. Follow the steps in the following article to load existing subscriptions: Parameters For Importing Existing Active Google Workspace Subscriptions.

  11. Configure the catalog notifications to be sent when Google updates the offers or adds new offers to the catalog.

    1. Follow the steps provided in the Configuring Notifications section.
