Prerequisites for Configuring Multi-Currency

In order to use multi-currency in CloudBlue Commerce, the below prerequisites must be met.

Make sure that there are no currency-related inconsistencies in the billing database. To do this, complete the steps below.
1. Log in to the node from which you can access the Kubernetes cluster where CloudBlue Commerce is deployed.
2. Download the multicurrency_subscription_precheck.py script.
3. Get the name of the bss-atm pod using the following command:
```
kubectl -n <NAMESPACE> get pods | grep bss-atm
```
  Where <NAMESPACE> is the namespace of your CloudBlue Commerce installation.
4. Copy the downloaded script to the bss-atm pod using the following command:
```
kubectl cp -n <NAMESPACE> ./multicurrency_subscription_precheck.py <BSS_ATM_POD_NAME>:./
```
  Where
  
  <NAMESPACE> is the namespace of your CloudBlue Commerce installation.
  
  <BSS_ATM_POD_NAME> is the name of the bss-atm pod.
5. Run the script on the bss-atm pod using the following command:
```
kubectl exec -it -n <NAMESPACE> <BSS_ATM_POD_NAME> -- python multicurrency_subscription_precheck.py
```
If the script finds any inconsistencies, please contact support for assistance. Otherwise, you can proceed with muti-currency configuration.
Install these components and update them to the specified below version or higher. Check the corresponding component documentation to learn what is the latest available version.
Activate the functionality, by enabling the FEA_MARGIN_PROTECTION feature. Refer to the Enabling or Disabling Special Functionality in the BSS Database Features Table section for the instructions.
If these components are a part of your installation, they must be updated to the specified versions to ensure correct work of multi-currency:
(Optional) Configure at least one exchange rates plugin if you want the exchange rates to be updated automatically. For instructions, refer to Configuring Exchange Rates Plugins.
