Introduction

This document describes the new features introduced in AWS Discount and Credit Management Extension v1.6.4:

New Features

    • New filtering capabilities have been added. Now it is possible to filter by AWS account ID, service and description.

    • Discount rules can now calculate discount eligibility based on PPA or EDP refund descriptions.

    • The new Refunds Audit capability allows you to check if the refunds received from AWS are aligned with the discounts applied to customers and resellers.

    • AWS Child Accounts (also known as member or linked accounts) can now be added as a condition when creating discount rules for AWS SPP Standalone.

  • COAD-4532.

    • The AWS Discount and Credit Manager can now detect AWS accounts and services that are eligible for PPA/EDP discounts so that the corresponding discount rules can be created for PPA/EDP programs.

    • The Refund Split capability allows you to create PPA or EDP split rules by providing a split percentage to distribute the total refund amount among your resellers and customers.

  • COAD-4633. A list of regular expressions can be configured to detect accounts and services eligible for PPA/EDP discounts.

  • COAD-4541. An Audit Trail has been added, which provides the list of operations and the user who performed them.

  • COAD-4667. UX enhancements have been introduced.
