This document describes the new features introduced in AWS Discount and Credit Management Extension v1.6.4:
New Features

COAD-4440. The following capabilities have been introduced:

The new AWS Discount Advisor module allows you to determine the refunds and charges retrieved from AWS CUR and then plan the discounts for resellers and customers accordingly.

The Refund Viewer allows you to check if the actual refunds obtained from AWS CUR have been removed from the customer invoice calculation. Additionally, you can check if there is a discount rule associated to the same AWS account ID and service.

AWS Charges viewer provides a summary of the charges retrieved from AWS CUR without any post-processing.

New filtering capabilities have been added. Now it is possible to filter by AWS account ID, service and description.

Discount rules can now calculate discount eligibility based on PPA or EDP refund descriptions.

The new Refunds Audit capability allows you to check if the refunds received from AWS are aligned with the discounts applied to customers and resellers.

AWS Child Accounts (also known as member or linked accounts) can now be added as a condition when creating discount rules for AWS SPP Standalone.

The AWS Discount and Credit Manager can now detect AWS accounts and services that are eligible for PPA/EDP discounts so that the corresponding discount rules can be created for PPA/EDP programs.

The Refund Split capability allows you to create PPA or EDP split rules by providing a split percentage to distribute the total refund amount among your resellers and customers.

COAD-4633. A list of regular expressions can be configured to detect accounts and services eligible for PPA/EDP discounts.

COAD-4541. An Audit Trail has been added, which provides the list of operations and the user who performed them.

COAD-4667. UX enhancements have been introduced.
